Notes: When installing, tighten the cap to specified torque as shown on the housing of the filter canister or consult a repair manual. (most at 25NM or 18 ft lb.) Over tightening may cause leakage and may damage housing. You can use a specialized torque wrench 8940 that is also for sale. Consult a vehicle manual if this is your first job.
